Property Risk Report

Enter any California, Oregon, Nevada, or Arizona address for a protective Fire Risk Score (1–10), all historic wildfire perimeters within 10 miles — including small ones, with no minimum-acre filter (CAL FIRE FRAP), historic wind context for the same radius (Open-Meteo), and a Google Maps satellite view with property pin, distinct red fire polygons, and an optional 10-mile radius ring. Context for conversation — not a prediction or insurance quote.

Insurance

Keep a current policy — or document if you self-insure

Documented CitroSafe systems and seasonal perimeter / vegetation / defensible-space treatments can help you talk with a broker about keeping or saving a current policy. The same file is useful if you self-insure. This report is historic context — not a quote, underwriting decision, or insurance advice.

Keep or save a current policy

Many carriers in California and the West weigh mitigation evidence when they decide whether to keep or write coverage. CitroTech partnered with WOWS Insurance LLC on wildfire risk and insurance solutions that combine fire hardening, proactive mitigation, and remotely activated systems. Public reporting notes some carriers ask about long-term inhibitors and CitroSafe-type systems; CitroTech has said it is working toward underwriting recognition. That is evolving — not a guaranteed discount.

California only: the FAIR Plan / Safer from Wildfires program offers stacked hardening discounts on the wildfire portion of premium for qualifying physical measures (for example Class A roof, vents, Zone 0). CitroSafe or seasonal spray is not an automatic FAIR Plan line item unless your carrier confirms.

Also for those who self-insure

If you carry the risk yourself, a dated treatment file still matters: photos of the perimeter and treated vegetation, applicator notes, product docs, and CitroSafe coverage if installed. It is a practical record of what you did in defensible space — risk reduction, not a guarantee against wildfire damage.

We do not list other carrier names here. Insurance decisions rest with your broker, your carrier, and — in California — the FAIR Plan.

Data honesty & disclaimers
  • Historic wildfire perimeters (CAL FIRE FRAP) within 10 milesall sizes, including small ones; no acre filter — and historic wind (Open-Meteo archive) describe past conditions near the address — not a prediction of future fire or wind.
  • Source limitations: FRAP perimeters may under-represent the smallest or unmapped incidents. We still list every perimeter the source returns in the 10-mile window with no client-side acre filter, and we do not invent missing geometries.
  • The Fire Risk Score is a Reliable Wildfire Defense composite over a 10-mile window that errs high when inputs are missing. It is not a CAL FIRE rating, insurance underwriting decision, FAIR Plan determination, or carrier quote.
  • Not insurance advice. Talk to your broker.
  • Mitigation tools (CitroSafe systems / seasonal spray) are risk-reduction aids — not a guarantee against wildfire damage. Always follow evacuation orders.
  • We do not invent fire names, acres, distances, FHSZ classes, or wind numbers. Interactive map uses Google Maps JavaScript API (satellite/hybrid) when a Maps key is set. Address suggestions use PlaceAutocompleteElement (Places API New) when keyed; Photon / OSM only if Places New fails to load.
